Mindfullness 1.0 Meditation Album

 

 

If I had a nickel for all the times I spent trying to fix everything around me so I could reduce my stress, feel like life was easier, and experience more joy in my relationships and in my work, I’d be set up like royalty on some random island I owned, off the shore of EBF.

I learned five years ago that all my outer stuff (my job, my clothes, my hobbies, my friends, the cool techie gadgets, the decor in my home, my car, where I lived, etc) couldn’t fix the real problem. The problem was me. It was how I saw myself, how I treated myself, who I let in my life and how I allowed them to treat me, and what I believed was possible in my biz.

I had this dream of grabbing a two-hour mack-daddy massage without apology.

I wanted to stop having to tiptoe around my words to say how I felt.

I wanted a relationship that let me feel safe and free at the same time.

The baggage from my past was weighing me down and I was ready to let it go. Feeling exhausted and overwhelmed (REAL TALK: I was unemployed, living with my parents in a retirement community, and began experiencing panic attacks for the first time in my life), I knew I needed a pick me up, but it needed to be simple.

Mindfulness and meditation was the answer!

Since discovering, practicing, and studying it intensely, I’ve found it to be the golden ticket to:

  • Defusing tension so you stop biting your nails to the nubs
  • Relieving stress so you don’t end up with an ulcer
  • Practicing compassion so you cut yourself (and others) some slack
  • Transforming your mind so you stop hearing the shame police or your inner ‘Negative Nancy’ squash your big dreams
  • Promoting peace so you can actually enjoy this thang called life
  • Reducing anxiety so you can try the things you’ve always dreamed of without fear

But I also found that it was hard to find all the resources I wanted. Some were only available for a limited time, some were hard to hear, and some just sounded so damn pretentious ha-ha. Aside from that, tracks were in apps, in individual purchases, in membership hubs, and some were freebies. Some were soothing voices and some… not so much. All over the place.

So I created a meditation album of my own.

I selected themes specifically based on what I needed but couldn’t find, all-in-one place, and I designed the tracks to feel and sound like I’m right there, guiding you through a meditation, in the comfort of your own home with no annoying muzak. Sweet right?

Soulful Biz Tip!

Your inner game is half the battle if you wanna take your biz to the next level.  I learned that the long and hard way. The best time to invest in you is now!

This ain’t for you if :

  • you think meditation is sketchy, new-age voodoo, and is gonna allow the devil to crawl into your brain and corrupt you (it won’t, but you obviously have another area to work on first)
  • you think all your problems are someone else’s fault (you may wanna look ‘victim mentality’ up in the dictionary)
  • and finally, this meditation album is absolutely not for you if you think you can listen to one track and your life will be 100% different without ever having to listen again

It is possible for Mindfullness 1.0 to lead you to the land of milk and honey with regular practice!
