Introducing
the Mindful Life Map!
Through the Mindful Life Map, you will discover the unique methods and abilities necessary to take an active part in designing a life you most desire to live.
The Mindful Life Map is the home of Noosa, the Narwhal.
Noosa wants to grab the mic for a moment, so here she is:
“I’m sure you’ve heard narwhals referred to as the ‘unicorn of the sea’. Funny story, I’ve seen on Pinterest this meme of a unicorn checking out this whale and flirting with her. As if that’s how I was born, HA!
I want to tell you a story.
About a year ago I was swimming laps in the Arctic Circle as I always do, and out of the blue, I had this shiver down my back. This is kinda odd considering where I live, I’m used to the cold water. But anyway, I digress. Immediately after, I remember feeling so exhausted. I was overcome by this urgent need to swim to the surface. Once I did, I felt like I could finally breathe.
Have you ever felt like you work really hard, are super successful by so many standards, and yet it feels like something is missing? Fins… errr… hands up!
Random narwhal fact! We don’t thrive in captivity. My cousin, Cecil, trapped me in a box once on the ocean floor, and no shit, I almost died. He thought it was hilarious, but quite frankly, he’s just a jerk. It took feeling trapped for me to learn that freedom to be fully seen is essential for me to thrive.
I couldn’t just trust myself to know what I needed, not right away.
That day I broke through the surface showed me that I wasn’t happy. Life wasn’t fun at all anymore. I was always on the go and burned out. But I wasn’t making the progress I knew I was capable of. Talk about being tired of sitting on the sidelines!
And since we are getting personal, I have a confession. I’m a high achiever! I trust myself 90% of the time, and I’m super grateful. But doing it on my own left me over-thinking, taken advantage of, and pulled in so many directions.
“I don’t have A-game, I have A+ game bitches”, I used to brag to all my pals.
Here’s another fact maybe you didn’t know; we narwhals travel in groups. We don’t go rogue and venture out on our own. Well, not anymore! I’ve said goodbye to 15 of my closest friends and family (and kicked Cecil to the curb. See ya, wouldn’t wanna be ya!) so I could follow my dreams.
So it’s time I told you the ‘tooth’ (have I mentioned I adore a good pun?). I am trying mindfulness and meditation. I’m both a whale and a unicorn; real and magical. I’m still learning you have to have both in order to be a RockStar!”
Noosa is clearly very driven, plus she’s full of sass and snark and ain’t afraid to use it. You won’t be alone on your new adventure working through the Mindful Life Map workbook, but you won’t be babied or have your handheld either.
She is learning, and you will too, that deepening your awareness while taking inspired action is where the magic happens. Tangibles and intangibles working together create the counter-intuitive road to success.
The Mindful Life Map brings a fresh approach to mindfulness, removing outdated stigmas and empowering a new audience, providing you with the tools to become your most powerful self.
Can you admit that you often let yourself be a “doormat”, letting others take advantage of you without even realizing it’s happening until it’s too late?
Perfectionism has stolen your ability to forgive yourself and made you your own worst critic.
